Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

ART is a brief, directive therapy that uses eye movements and guided visualization to change the way distressing memories are stored in the brain. Clients don’t need to talk in detail about their trauma, and many experience relief in just a few sessions. It’s often used for PTSD, anxiety, grief, and phobias.

ART can feel lighter and more manageable than other trauma therapies because it focuses on rapid resolution without prolonged exposure to painful memories. It supports the brain in "re-coding" troubling images or sensations with more neutral or positive associations, helping clients feel calmer, clearer, and more in control.
