Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy blends talk therapy with body-based awareness. It helps clients notice how trauma and emotions are stored in the body and gently release them. By focusing on body sensations, movement, and nervous system regulation, clients build resilience and feel more grounded in the present.
This approach is especially helpful when words aren’t enough or when the body seems “stuck” in patterns of tension, shutdown, or hyperarousal. Sensorimotor work can enhance a sense of safety, connection, and self-trust—restoring a person’s ability to feel at home in their own body and life.
